Port your number to Optus
Porting a phone number to Optus is normally a seamless process that allows you to get your new number working on the Optus network.
Note: When buying a PhoneNumbers.VIP Number, you need to first transfer the number into your name via a Change of Ownership form before you can port your number. It is not possible to port from PhoneNumbers.VIP to Optus directly as the porting process cannot do a name change.
Then one that number is working in your phone, you can port the number to Optus.
Please note that while the porting process is generally smooth, there may be instances where complications arise. In such cases, we can provide general advice but unfortuantely as the number is no longer in our name we cannot communicate with Optus about the number, you'd have to communicate with Optus directly.
